यह सुलतानों के शासन काल की १३वीं सदी की गाथा है, उन दिनों दिल्ली में तुर्कों का शासन था, जिन्हें दास वंश के शासक भी कहा जाता था। उनका शासन १२०६ से १२९० ई. तक चला। जनश्रुति के अुनसार जिसमें तुर्कों के साथ युद्ध का वर्णन आता है और देवताओं की पूजा में भी यह तथ्य विद्यमान है। इससे इस तथ्य की पुष्टि होती है कि श्री शिरगुल देव तथा उनके भाई बहनों का अवतार तुर्की सल्तनत (१२०६ से १२१० ई.) के शासन काल में इन महान आत्माओं ने अवतार लिया था। जिला सिरमौर की राजगढ़ तहसील मे राजगढ़-हाब्बन रोड पर १८ कि.मी. की दूरी पर स्थित शाया नामक गांव स्थित है| वहां पर श्री भुकडू राजा राज्य करते थे, जो की सन्तान न होने से दुखी थे| उन्होंने सन्तान की प्राप्ति के कई उपाय किए परन्तु कोई लाभ प्राप्त नहीं हुआ। फिर उन्हें मालुम हुआ कि कशमीर के देश नाथ कौल उर्फ देशु पण्डित बहुत विद्वान पंडित है। वह सन्तान न होने के प्रति अवगत एवं उपाय कर सकते है। इसी चिन्ता को लेकर भुकडू महाराज ने काशमीर की राह ली|
